Terms of Service

What this service is

refereeprep provides practice ("mock") examinations for football referees studying the IFAB Laws of the Game, together with per-Law scoring and written explanations.

The questions are original material written against the published Laws of the Game. They are not reproductions of, or extracts from, any federation's real examination papers.

• We are an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IFAB, FIFA, UEFA, The Football Association, the KNVB, the DFB, the Scottish FA, the FAI, or any other football body.
• Papers described as being in the style of a particular federation's assessment are our own interpretation of that assessment's shape. They are not that federation's exam.
• Passing a paper here does not confer any qualification, and does not guarantee you will pass any official examination.

Your account

You need an account to save results, hold credits, or subscribe. The free universal paper can be sat without one.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are for one person — please don't share credentials.

You must give an email address you control, so that we can send you account-related mail such as password resets.

Credits and subscriptions

Credits unlock a single attempt at a federation paper. They do not expire, are tied to your account, are not transferable, and have no cash value outside the service.

A Pro subscription gives unlimited attempts on the federation papers plus Pro-only papers for as long as it is active. It renews automatically at the interval you chose until you cancel.

You can cancel Pro at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then, and are not billed again.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is taken by Lemon Squeezy, who may act as the seller of record and apply their own terms to the transaction.

Refunds are covered by our separate refund policy.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Copy, scrape, republish or resell our questions, explanations or Law summaries.
• Share an account, or resell access to one.
• Attempt to access another person's attempts, results or account.
• Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or automate access in a way that degrades it for others.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things, without refund where the breach is serious.

Our content

The questions, explanations, Law summaries, design and code are ours and are protected by copyright. Your account gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own study.

The Laws of the Game themselves are published by IFAB and are their work, not ours. Our summaries are original paraphrase.

Accuracy, and what practice material cannot promise

We write against the current published edition of the Laws and correct errors when we find them. Even so:

• The Laws are revised annually, and material may briefly lag a revision.
• Questions are our interpretation of the Laws. Where our explanation and the published Laws differ, the published Laws are correct.
• Nothing here is a substitute for your federation's own training, materials or assessor.

If you spot something you believe is wrong, please tell us — corrections are welcome and useful.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what you have paid for.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any examination outcome, career consequence or opportunity said to result from using the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If you are a consumer, you keep all rights the law gives you, and nothing here reduces them.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or on the site before they take effect, and the date at the top will change.
